The 7 Stones Genesis collection is presented as a 250-card digital set with five standard rarities. Exotic cards are serialized versions of existing Mythics, not a sixth gameplay rarity. Cards from paid Genesis Boosters are described as tradeable, while starter and promotional cards are account-bound.1 2

Those are the published rules and product statements. The game is still pre-launch, so final distribution terms, marketplace operation, account access, and service conditions should be checked before purchase or play.

What is the Genesis collection?

The official site describes Genesis as a 250-card founding collection for an online-only trading card game. It says the set will have one release window, carry a distinguishing Genesis mark, and not be released again after that window closes.1 3

These are first-party pre-launch statements. The final campaign terms and live implementation will control how the collection is delivered and used.

During the editorial review on September 9, 2026, the official Cards directory displayed 104 of 250 cards revealed.1 That is a dated page observation, not a permanent rule or final checklist.

Where do the cards work?Inside the 7 Stones game ecosystem.5Review account, service, and marketplace terms.

“Digital collectible” does not mean physical ownership. The current Terms of Service say the cards exist within the 7 Stones game ecosystem and that player-to-player trading is facilitated through the in-game marketplace.5

The five standard rarities

The published system uses Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary, and Mythic. Rarity affects booster distribution and the number of copies allowed in one deck.2

RarityMaximum copies in a deckIncluded in standard Genesis Booster slots?
Common2Yes
Rare2Yes
Epic2Yes
Legendary1Yes
Mythic1Yes

These limits apply within a 30-card deck.2 A third Common, Rare, or Epic cannot become a third playable copy in the same deck. The same is true for a second Legendary or Mythic. Duplicate-protection and trading rules determine what may happen to extra paid-booster copies.

Rarity also does not tell you whether a deck needs the card. Start with the deck's plan, then decide which legal copies support it. The 30-card deckbuilding guide explains that process.

Exotics are treatments, not stronger cards

The official pages describe Exotics as limited, serialized treatments of existing Mythics. They are not a separate rarity, do not appear in standard booster odds, and provide no gameplay advantage. The rules currently describe them as Kickstarter editions available through campaign rewards.1 2

An Exotic does not change the one-copy Mythic deck limit. Players should still verify the underlying Mythic, serialized supply, allocation method, transfer eligibility, and exact campaign condition. The word “Exotic” does not answer those questions by itself.

What is in a Genesis Booster?

The published booster model uses five independently rolled card positions. Cards 1 to 3 are Common. Card 4 is Rare or better. Card 5 may be any standard rarity.2

Card positionCommonRareEpicLegendaryMythic
Cards 1 to 3100.00%0%0%0%0%
Card 40%81.40%15.19%3.06%0.35%
Card 580.00%14.00%4.70%1.05%0.25%

The official guide says the percentages are rounded to two decimal places. It also gives these natural per-booster chances:2

  • Epic: 19.18%
  • Epic or better: 23.48%
  • Legendary or Mythic: 4.66%
  • Mythic: 0.60%

“Natural” matters here. These figures describe the five-card roll before protection systems are applied.

How booster protections work

The published rules add progress protections after the natural roll. They state that a player will receive:

  • an Epic within 10 Genesis Boosters;
  • a Legendary or Mythic within 40 Genesis Boosters;
  • at least one Legendary or Mythic in the first 10 Genesis Boosters.2

Each counter resets when its listed result appears. Since guarantees are applied after the natural roll, long-run Epic and Legendary results should be slightly higher than the natural figures above. The site does not publish the adjusted long-run rates.2

Do not calculate a final expected distribution from the slot table alone unless the complete counter logic is available.

Duplicate protection has conditions

Duplicate protection may apply when a player opens more playable copies than the deck limit while still missing another card of the same rarity. The extra copy may be rerolled into a missing card at the same rarity.2

RarityPublished duplicate-protection rate
Common100%
Rare100%
Epic75%
Legendary50%
Mythic0%

This is not a promise that every booster advances set completion. The player must exceed the playable-copy limit, still be missing a card at that rarity, and then pass the protection rate when it is below 100%. Mythic duplicates have no published reroll protection.2

The current page does not explain how the replacement is selected when several cards are missing, how opening order is recorded, whether counters are visible, or how an error is corrected.

Which cards are tradeable?

The current rule is narrower than “all cards are tradeable.” Cards opened from paid Genesis Boosters are described as tradeable, including duplicates and cards produced by guarantees. Starter and promotional cards are account-bound.2

Paid Genesis BoosterTradeable, including duplicates and guaranteed cards.2Intended for player-to-player transfer through the in-game marketplace.
Starter cardAccount-bound.2Intended for use on the receiving account.
Promotional cardAccount-bound.2A promotional copy is not automatically tradeable.
Exotic treatmentThe reviewed rules do not separately state its transfer status.1 2Check final reward and marketplace terms.

The FAQ describes a built-in marketplace for direct player-to-player trading without a third-party site.4 Because the game is pre-launch, this is a planned service feature, not proof that a transaction can be completed today.

“Tradeable” also leaves practical questions. The reviewed pages do not specify fees, limits, regional restrictions, fraud review, dispute handling, parental controls, tax treatment, or whether direct swaps and marketplace listings use the same process.

Why the account and service matter

The Terms of Service define the cards as digital collectibles inside the game ecosystem. The homepage says cards arrive in a player's account when the game opens.3 5

Using a card and transferring an eligible card therefore depend on 7 Stones account and service infrastructure. This is different from holding a physical card independently of the publisher. The reviewed sources do not describe an external wallet, offline transfer, export path, or use in another game.

Before committing, look for clear rules on account recovery, compromised accounts, suspensions, marketplace outages, service closure, data export, and what happens to cards if the game changes. The current terms include general “as is” language and allow updates, but do not provide detailed card-service continuity promises.5

A quick player checklist

For deckbuilding, focus on the one-copy and two-copy limits. Exotics provide no gameplay advantage. Choose cards because they support a plan, not because of rarity.

For boosters, read the slot table together with both protection systems. Natural odds and protected long-run results are not the same. Duplicate protection reduces some excess copies, but does not promise a complete set.

For trading, identify how each card entered the account. Paid Genesis Booster cards are described as tradeable. Starter and promotional cards are not. Ask how campaign cards, Exotics, gifts, refunds, and disputed transactions are classified.

For digital access, decide whether an account-based, online-only collection fits your expectations. If you need physical possession or use outside the service, the current model does not describe that capability.3 5

Common questions

How many Genesis cards are planned?

The current first-party plan is 250 cards.1 2 The Cards page showed 104 reveals during the September 9, 2026 review.1

Is Exotic a sixth rarity?

No. Exotics are limited, serialized treatments of Mythics. They sit outside standard booster odds and provide no gameplay advantage.1 2

Does every booster contain Rare or better?

Yes, under the published slot model. Card 4 is always Rare, Epic, Legendary, or Mythic.2

Can every Genesis card be traded?

No. Paid Genesis Booster cards are described as tradeable. Starter and promotional cards are account-bound. The reviewed pages do not separately resolve every campaign reward or Exotic.2

Do listed odds include protection counters?

No. The site calls the per-booster figures natural results and says guarantees are applied afterward. It does not publish the final adjusted distribution.2
